Air date: Friday, April 13th

The story opens
with the Lone Gunmen hot on the trail of Elvis. But the Elvis they find
is a master of illusion (and African
American, to boot) and the result of
their labors is simply an embezzler
jailed and Jimmy hauled off to a temporary
detention.
A
caller and long-time reader shows up
at their door as they're doing the post-mortems
for their last escapade. Her son
is on death row in a Texas prison for a murder
that she knows he didn't commit.
She insists he's been framed.
Byers and the others are noncommittal,
but at Jimmy's urging they decide
to look into the case further.
