From Chris Carter, creator of The X-Files, comes a new batch of intrigue and suspense with a few familiar faces and an altogether unfamiliar tone. When Mulder needed the real dirt, the conspiracy behind the conspiracies, these are the guys he turned to, and now they're on their own, facing down government corruption and corporate greed wherever it threatens the American way. A zany spinoff from one of the greatest sci-fi and suspense series of all time, The Lone Gunmen comes to comics in this special one-shot.

Michael Ring of Dark Horse Comics adds:

As a funny aside, we had a quick visit from Dean Haglund a couple of weeks ago here at the Dark Horse offices! He's such a cool guy. He also did one of the voices on our Big Guy and Rusty cartoon! You can  find more info on that here:

About the Writer: (from the Dragon*Con web pages)
http://www.dragoncon.org/people/espensj.html

Jane Espenson is a writer and co-producer for the Buffy the Vampire Slayer television show. An experienced writer, her previous television credits include episodes of Dinosaurs, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Nowhere Man.

Her professional writing career began when she submitted three "spec" scripts to Star Trek: The Next Generation.   The spec scripts led to an invitation to pitch stories to the show's producers.  Producers liked and bought one of her story ideas, and enabled her to get her first agent.

Jane held a number of sitcom jobs, but eventually returned to the world of sci fi and television drama. Her Buffy episodes include "Band Candy," in which the adults revert to their teenaged selves, "Earshot," in which Buffy gains the ability to read thoughts, and "Superstar," an alternate-reality episode, among others.
